ANJEC Achievement Award

The Alpine Environmental Commission has received an achievement award from the Association of NJ Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) for our Field Guide, video, and associated web pages. The award was presented at ANJEC's 43rd Annual Environmental Congress held in 2016 at the Mercer County College in West Windsor, NJ.
ANJEC has been presenting the awards since the mid-1970's to recognize exceptional projects carried out by environmental commissions and groups. The awards are chosen based on a set of criteria including the project's impact, educational value, innovation, and response to a need.
